Graduation

It’s hard to imagine that tomorrow (or today I guess) i’ll be accepting a diploma, officially ending my career as a high school student. it feels like only yesterday I was getting ready for my big day as a bad ass freshman, making memories every step of the way. I have never been as grateful for anything in my life as I am for my very own class of 2012. I have been blessed to grow up with some of thee most innovative, brilliant, creative, and caring individuals a person could ask for. Without everyone of my classmates, I would not be the person I am today. I would not have gotten through the struggles I had and have face. Without them, I wouldn’t had made so many lasting memories, that I will hold dear to my heart for my entire life. As we walk out the doors of the auditorium tomorrow, it may seem as if we are walking away from everything we once knew. But the way I see it, we are walking into a new journey, walking down a new road that with good intentions, love and hope we may lead down successfully. I have so much faith in each and everyone of my classmates, and can not wait to see how well they are will succeed, and I say will because i know without a doubt they will all be successful, not in the measure of money but in the measure of happiness and love. With that said,  I believe Dr Seuss has the best advice any graduate can receive. He says You have brains in your head, you have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You’re on your own, and you know what you know. You are the one who will decide where to go.” Good luck to all of you who are graduating high school this year, I hope your memories of high school are as incredible as mine. i hope you all had the chance to form a tight knit bond with your class like I had the chance to. If I had the chance, I would do it all again.
